My name is Makiko Hajos, and I have been working as an esthetician in Frederick, MD since earning my license from the Baltimore School of Massage in 2013. I specialize in body waxing and relaxation facials, and my approach incorporates technical knowledge with a relaxing and soothing touch. I opened LeiAloha to provide an attentive, friendly, and professional service to all of my clients. I'm a very experienced Brazilian Wax Specialist, and I have performed thousands of Brazilian waxing. A Brazilian Wax doesn't have to be a scary experience if you go to the right technician. There is no reason to be shy! My focus is on your hair growth and removals. During your waxing, I will explain what I'm doing as I do it, and my techniques will minimize the pain. To relax and distract yourself during the session, you can listen to your music, use your phone, or talk to me. What is Brazilian Wax? My studio definition of Brazilian Wax is the removal of all the hair from front to back. Of course, your idea may be different, and you are welcome to let me know what you want. For example, if you don’t like to be completely bare, I can leave a natural V shape or landing strip in front. Alternatively, if you don’t want me to work on your back area, I can focus only on the front and in the labia. It is up to you. What kind of wax is used? I use soft and hard waxes. Hard wax does not stick to the skin and is gentle on the skin. I use hard wax to remove most of the hair and in the most sensitive area to avoid damaging the skin on your very sensitive labia area. I use soft wax to clean up any remaining follicles. What are the benefits of Brazilian Wax? Benefits include long-lasting results and confidence. Because waxing removes hair from the roots, re-growth is much slower. The more consistent you are with your wax regime, the slower and thinner new hair grows back in. As a result, you can enjoy smooth, bare skin over a longer period. Depending on your hair type, there may even be areas where hair may not reappear at all! A Brazilian Wax means enjoying being hair-free and carefree longer. Once you've received your Brazilian Wax, you will immediately notice the smoothness and soft feel that other hair removal methods simply cannot offer. Feeling soft, clean, and fresh "down there" makes you confident on the inside and outside. Not to mention, there will be no embarrassing show of unwanted hair through your underwear or bathing suits. What are the side effects of waxing? Pain- it depends on your pain tolerance, but the first time is usually the worst. Most girls say it’s not as bad as they thought it would be, and that although it hurt and was uncomfortable, it was tolerable and worth it. I will remove the hair little by little and try to minimize the pain as much as I can with my technique. Rash- It's common to experience bumps and redness, especially immediately after waxing. This is temporary and typically resolves on its own. A Brazilian Wax is one of the greatest services you can have done. It will eliminate shaving for up to four weeks and leave your skin soft and smooth. My clients tell me shaving is no longer an option. Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION POLICY
Please give at least 72 hours notice when canceling an appointment. However, I understand that emergencies happen;
thus you will be responsible for a full payment of your missed appointment if we receive less than 24 hours notice. Thank you in advance for your consideration of our time.
NO SHOW POLICY
If you have an appointment and failed to call to cancel, you will be required to pay a fee of 100% of your service total.
GIFT CERTIFICATE POLICY
Gift certificates must be presented at the time of service. Lost, misplaced, or stolen certificates are non-refundable, replaceable, nor valid
LATE ARRIVAL PLICY
Clients who arrive late will be charged in full for their scheduled session, but will receive an abbreviated, prorated session.
Clients who have a waxing appointment and arrive more than 20 minutes late will be either charged a late fee or be canceled, and pay a fee of 100% for the service.
